Copyright & Reports
Last updated: 2 November 2026
StudyMeter lets students store their own study material and share it with friends they accept. Shared items are never public. We respect copyright and act on reports quickly.
Reporting something
- Students: tap the flag (Report) button next to any shared file or link and choose a reason.
- Copyright owners (lecturers, publishers, universities): email urus360solutions@gmail.com with your name and contact details, the work you own, the file name or other details that identify it, and a statement that the use isn't authorised by you.
What happens next
- We aim to review reports within 48 hours.
- If we take something down, it stops being shared or downloadable by others — including every copy friends added to their own StudyMeter.
- The person who shared it is notified. If they believe it was removed by mistake, they can contact us and we may restore it.
- Accounts that repeatedly share infringing material may be suspended.
False reports
Please only report in good faith. Knowingly false copyright notices can carry legal penalties.
